Masjid Sultan (Sultan Mosque) at 3 Muscat Street, Singapore 198833, was designed by Denis Santry of Swan and Maclaren in an Indo-Saracenic Revival style and constructed between 1924 and 1928 on the site of an original mosque commissioned by Sultan Hussein Shah of Johor and built between 1824 and 1826. Apart from repairs carried out to the main hall in the 1960s and an annex added in 1993, the mosque has remained largely unchanged since it was built. It was gazetted a national monument on 8 March 1975.
