English: McDonald-Schmidt Ranch House — taken over with the McDonald Ranch in 1942 as part of the Army's Alamogordo Bombing and Gunnery Range in Doña Ana County, New Mexico.
- The McDonald ranch house and ranch were the Manhattan Project location for the final assembly of the prototype Fat Man plutonium bomb on July 13, 1945, the first tested nuclear weapon in the world, detonated at the Trinity test on July 16, 1945.
- On the present day White Sands Missile Range, it is a National Historic Landmark, and on the National Register of Historic Places in Doña Ana County, New Mexico.
