- Building designed in 1923 by Schultze and Weaver in a synthesis of the Spanish-Italian Renaissance Revival, Mediterranean Revival, and Beaux-Arts styles (exterior and grand public rooms), as an homage to the Castilian heritage of Los Angeles, with an adjacent tower added in the 1980s.
