English: Songshan ("Mount Song") features the peaks of Ma An, Five Fo, Dan Yang, Shaoshi, and Taishi, and the subpeaks of all of these. Around their bases are a number of historical locations amounting to a significant cultural heritage. In 2004 most of these were united into the Songshan UNESCO Global Geopark. It contained 10 monasteries, 5 shrines, 5 palaces, 3 Taoist temples, 4 Buddhist convents, and over 270 pagodas (memorials). Some of these are categorized below.
