English: The turntable in the National Railway Museum in York is housed in the Great Hall, towards its northern side. The turntable is accessed from two tracks 53°57′40.5″N 1°5′48.88″W / 53.96125°N 1.0969111°W / 53.96125; -1.0969111 & 53°57′40.29″N 1°5′49.47″W / 53.9611917°N 1.097075°W / 53.9611917; -1.097075 which enter the hall through the northern facade, the remainder radiating out within the hall. The museum is connected to the East Coast Main Line, meaning the turntable and its radiating tracks can be used by visiting locomotives and stock in addition to the permanent exhibits housed in the museum.
