English: Building complex with former barracks, later city warehouses, built in 19th century industrial architecture. The complex includes some remnants of the Refuge of Nazareth Abbey (16th century, erfgoed 10240, see also 300249): the octagonal tower with a pear-shaped spire, and entrance gate. Largely new construction in 2004-2005 with 19 flats. Forms a whole with Blokstraat 1.
Nederlands: Bouwcomplex met voormalige kazerne, later stadsmagazijnen, opgetrokken in 19de-eeuwse industriële architectuur. In het complex zijn enkele restanten opgenomen van het Refugiehuis van de abdij van Nazareth (16e eeuw, erfgoed 10240, zie ook 300249): de achthoekige toren met een peervormige spits, en inkompoort. Grotendeels nieuwbouw in 2004-2005 met 19 appartementen. Vormt 1 geheel met Blokstraat 1.
