English: Order-4 square tiling (square tiling, square grid) is a regular tiling of the Euclidean plane by congruent squares. It is called order-4 because there are four squares around each vertex of the tiling. For comparison, order-3 square tiling is the spherical cube, while order-5 square tiling (and higher) exists on hyperbolic plane.
