Peaked Mountain, known locally as “Chick Hill,” is a small mountain in Clifton, Maine, that features a hiking trail to the summit and spectacular views. The location is discussed in the Maine Atlas and Gazetteer (Delorme, 2015, p.14): “Peaked Mountain (Chick Hill) – Clifton – map 24 A1. Extensive views in all directions from open ledges at summit. Trail ascends gradually along old tote roads. Base to summit, 1.25 miles; total elevation gain, 800 ft.”
