- English: Until 1896/7 photographer Wilhelm von Gloeden spent an unknown period in Naples, where he returned several times (as shown by the evolution in time of locations and models) even after he had bought a home in Taormina. In Naples he shared settings (at least two distinct ones, both in Posillipo/Mergellina) and, partly, models, with his maternal cousin Wilhelm von Pluschow.
- Italiano: Fino all'anno 1896/7 il fotografo Wilhelm von Gloeden trascorse un periodo ancora non determinato di tempo a Napoli, dove inizialmente aprì il suo studio e dove tornò a varie riprese (come dimostra l'invecchiamento sia delle locations sia dei modelli) anche dopo che ebbe comprato una casa a Taormina. A Napoli Gloeden condivise le locations (che furono come minimo due, entrambe a Posillipo/Mergellina), ed in parte anche i modelli, con il suo cugino materno, il fotografo Wilhelm von Pluschow.
