History

Piemonte was a ship with the hull bow spur and cruiser stern. Arrived in Italy in October 1889 and was assigned to squad task. In July 1894 stationed in the Red Sea then in the Indian Ocean. From August 1898 until January 1900 carried out a cruise around the world, then participated to the Italo-Turkish war. During the first World War was assigned to the Anglo-French squad at the base of Thessaloniki. The Piemonte has been decommissioned on May 15, 1920.
