Poppins are the name given to the structures often found on the top of tower blocks and flat roofed buildings. Smaller structures, such as clusters of chimneys, aerials etc. form part of the subgroup, pippins, included in this category.

Poppins are named after their association with the 1964 Disney film Mary Poppins, in particular, the structure on top of the ex-sea captain's house after the opening credits.
