D261 FUL is the former L-class dual-doored ECW-bodied Leyland Olympian, L261, new to London Buses Ltd in March 1987. As one of the coach seated vehicles it was to be used for private hire - it was given the ex-Routemaster (RM1002) cherished plate, 2 CLT and saw use in the private hire divisions Selkent Travel and then London Central Travel, before being privatised to London Central. After a return to its original plate it was sold by Central to Holmeswood Coaches in September 1998, who converted it to single-door. From 2002 ran it on their cherished plate, A19 HWD. After a second return to its original plate, it was purchased for preservation on 11th March 2013 by the Ipswich Bus Preservation Group.
