Category:Preserved bus in the UK (OJI 4371)

English: OJI 4371 was originally EBV 85S, a 1977 Leyland Atlantean AN68 with Northern Counties bodywork, delivered new to Fylde Borough Transport as their fleet no. 85. In 1991 it was the first of several buses that Fylde (by now trading as Blue Buses) sent for refurbishment, as an alternative to buying new buses. It was sent back to Northern Counties, who repanelled it using parts from their more modern Palatine 1 body. It re-entered service in October 1991, having been renumbered 71 and re-registered with the Northern Irish plate OJI 4371, to mask its true age. As 71 it remained with Blue Buses until its aquisition by Blackpool Transport, who renumbered it 471 and repainted it into their green and cream livery. It was finally withdrawn in June 2004, being immediately purchased for preservation by the Lancastrian Transport Trust, who returned it to its post-refurbishment identity as Blue Buses No. 71.
