The Renaissance frescos in Trautenfels castle ( Styria ) are showing a series of fantastic landscapes. The frescos were probably created by order of Ferdinand Hoffmann, owner of castle, to celebrate his marriage with Margarete of Harrach in 1563. The artist - probably coming from northern Italy - is unknown.
