English: Ruben Eluashvili (1858-1922) was the Rabbi of Kutaisi Governorate. In 1887 he become to Rabbi and in 1902 he become the Rabbi of Kutaisi. He was opponent to Zionism in Georgia and in 1918 he established Agudat Yisrael in Georgia. In 1921 after Red Army invasion of Georgia he emigrated to Istanbul, Turkey the place of his death and become the rabbi of the Georgian-Jew community in Istanbul.
