English: Sharrows (also known as shared lane markings) are street markings used in Australia, Canada, and the United States, placed in a travel lane to remind all road users that a bicyclist may use the full lane. They do not provide a separate lane set aside for cyclists - though they can also be used to indicate the position a cyclist is to take within the lane, making cyclist behaviour more predictable for motorists.
