English: Sladesbridge is a small village located outside Wadebridge in Cornwall, England, UK. It is situated at the confluence of the River Allen and the Croan Stream about 1 km upstream of the confluence with the River Camel. It has a number of businesses including Slade's House Country Inn, Trelawney Garden Leisure, Knevitt Consulting, Wood Design Furniture and Kestle Quarry. The surrounding area is in the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the floodplain is a Special Area of Conservation, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a County Wildlife Site. Otters, salmon, kingfishers, water rail and snipe are often seen in and around the river and the reedbeeds either side. A footpath runs along the western edge of the river allowing the general public to enjoy the peace and quiet.
