English: St. Saviour's Priory is said to have been founded by St. Laurence O'Toole in 1162 as house of Augustinian Canons. The house became Arroasian after 1163 and was later, in the 13th century, subject to the priory of All Saints in Dublin. The priory was dissolved in 1398. (See Gwynn & Hadcock, Medieval Religious Houses Ireland, p. 177. The priory belongs to the National Monument in state care #134.
