English: The Temple of Hephaistos in central Athens, Greece, is the best-preserved ancient Greek temple in the world, but is far less well-known than its illustrious neighbour, the Parthenon. It was dedicated to Hephaestus, the god of smiths and metal-workers.

It was also erroneously known as the temple of Theseus (Thissio).
