English: Thullal prasthanam (Thullal movement) is a Keralite dance movement started by Kunchan Nambiar in AD 18th century. Movement includes three types of dance forms, which are Ottan thullal, Sheethankan thullal and Parayan thullal. Dance movement convey ridicule and sarcasm by appropriating the stories from Indian classics like Mahabharatha and Ramayana.

മലയാളം: ക്രിസ്തുവിന് ശേഷം പതിനെട്ടാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ കുഞ്ചൻ നമ്പ്യാർ തുടങ്ങി വെച്ച നൃത്ത പ്രസ്ഥാനമാണ് തുള്ളൽ പ്രസ്ഥാനം. ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രകലയെന്ന രീതിയിൽ പുരാണകഥകൾ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവയിൽ അധിക്ഷേപവും പരിഹാസവും കാലാനുസൃതമായ വിധത്തിൽ ചേർത്തുള്ള രീതിയായിരുന്നു തുള്ളൽ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റേത്. ഓട്ടൻ, ശീതങ്കൻ, പറയൻ എന്നിങ്ങനെ മൂന്ന് തരത്തിലുള്ള തുള്ളലുകളാണുള്ളത്.
