Tratebas Mill in Jackson Township is a grist mill located along Coffee Creek. It was originally constructed in either 1835 or 1836 by Elijah Casteel and was referred to as Casteel's Mill. It included a sawmill and distillery. Abner Enoch and Henry Enoch, brothers, purchased the mill in April 1846 after Casteel's mortgage was foreclosed. The mill was leased in June 1851 to Isaac Hutchens. The distillery blew up in February 1854, burning the distillery and the grist mill. In August 1854, Henry Enoch sold the mill to his brother John, who sold it to Elijah Hill and Phineas Miller in July 1845. The mill changed ownership once again when Hill and Miller sold it to Christian Long in December 1863.

A new grist mill was constructed by Christian Long on or about May 25, 1887. The mill was popularly called Long's Mill due to the long ownership of the property by Christian Long. His son he sold the mill to Charles Rolfe in November 1910. John Tratebas purchased it from Charles Rolfe in April 1920. The Tratebas Milling Company, was sold in a sheriff sale in February 1929.
