English: Note that Unicode versions 1.0 and 1.1 (partially obsolete) had 2 350 Hangul syllable characters assigned in the range U+3400-3D2D (part of a former block U+3400-3D2F which was not part of the ISO/IEC 10646 standard). They have been removed from Unicode 2.0 (synchronized with the ISO/IEC 10646 standard), and encoded differently (with an arithmetic order) in this larger block containing 11 172 syllables in the range U+AC00-D7A3.
