English: University Way (more formally University Way NE or University Way Northeast, colloquially The Ave) is the main commercial street of the University District, Seattle, Washington. Originally known as 14th Avenue NE, it was officially renamed in November 1920 to celebrate the dedication of the University Bridge and Roosevelt Park.
