English: The en:Supai Group (4 member units), of en:red beds in the Grand Canyon-(northwest Arizona, but elsewhere in (southwest)-Utah, and central-east Arizona), USA sit below the Hermit Formation, and lie on the Redwall Limestone, typically the "platform", on the top of the Redwall Limestone cliffs.

The following is the time sequence: the Supai Group is Pennsylvanian, with the top unit (Esplanade Sandstone, a typical massive resistant cliff) being Lower Permian. The sequence:
