English: The Wawona Tree, also known as the Fallen Tunnel Tree, is a fallen Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) tree in the Mariposa Grove of Yosemite National Park that had a tunnel bored through it so that vehicles could pass through. The tree collapsed in February 1969 but remains a popular stop along Mariposa Grove Road. The tree can only be reached on foot.
