WEGA is a former German company that has manufactured equipment in the entertainment industry. It was founded in 1923 near Stuttgart and acquired by Sony in 1975. Then a few years, some Sony products are equipped with the WEGA-label and marketed as a separate product line.

WEGA ist ein ehemaliges deutsches Unternehmen, das Geräte der Unterhaltungsindustrie hergestellt hat. Es wurde 1923 in Fellbach bei Stuttgart gegründet und 1975 von Sony übernommen. Danach wurden noch einige Jahre einzelne SONY-Produkte mit dem WEGA-Label ausgestattet und als eigene Produktlinie vermarktet.
