English: Weymann of America was an American coachbuilding concern that operated independently from its French mother house. The company built Weymann fabric bodies, and developed a metal panel system by refining this method. The company delivered bespoke and semi custom work for many classic makes, especially for Stutz. After the demise of Stutz, Weymann got more work from the Cord Corporation, building bodies for Auburn and Duesenberg. The respected company had to close because the high unit costs that evoked from its building methods, and dwindling market during the depression years.
