- World War I memorial (other name: Lion statue) by Hugó Keviczky (1929 limestone statue, relocated in 1937, story: planned a bronze statue but there was money issue, so made it in limestone and painted to brown, replaced because there erected the Madách statue, in the 1950s vandalized, and when restored it, it was whitewashed) - Palóc (former Erzsébet) Grove, Balassagyarmat, Nógrád County, Hungary.

I. világháborús emlékmű (avagy: Oroszlános szobor) Keviczky Hugó szobrát 1929-ben adták át a Vármegyeháza melletti téren a lebontott Kisvármegyeháza helyén. 1937-ben át kellett helyezni a Palóc ligetbe, mert az eredeti helyen Madách Imre szobrát avatták fel. Az eredetileg barnára festett szobrot (nem volt pénz bronzszoborra) a restauráláskor fehérre meszelték - Nógrád megye, Balassagyarmat, Palóc (volt Erzsébet) liget
