English: Monument with Mao Zedong's dedication to the people of Wuhan overcoming the Yangtze Flood of 1954. It is an obelisk located in Wuhan's Yanjiang Park (near the shore of the Yangtze River in Hankou), decorated with the portrait of Mao Zedong, his poem "Swimming" (游泳) (1956), and reliefs showing the people fighting the flood. The monument itself was dedicated in 1969; its images are posted to Wiki Commons based on the concept of the "Freedom of Panorama"
