Oppose to move the category to Amami Ōshima: we don't have clear consensus that we should use macrons for Japanese long vowels. There are a bunch of categories for places in Japan named without macrons, eg Category:Honshu, Category:Osumi Islands, Category:Shodo Island and much more. Yasu (talk) 14:56, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
