Category talk:Carl Friedrich von Rumohr

Rumohr’s writings published during his lifetime show his first name (Carl or Karl) spelled with an initial “C” not with “K”. The only 19th century publication I am aware of that spells his first name with an initial “K” (Karl) is Poel: ADB, Band 29 (1889), S. 657–661 that was published 40 years after his death. In my view the spelling Rumohr himself had used should be respected and the ULAN record should be amended accordingly. --RM Vollmer (talk) 22:52, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
