Culs et sacs edit

This category is badly named. I can understand the argument for/against 'cul-de-sacs' and 'culs-de-sac', but why have the singular? It's rather like having a category called *Street instead of *Streets or *House instead of *Houses. I've just redirected Category:Cul-de-sac in Wales to Category:Cul-de-sacs in Wales as *Cul-de-sac in Wales would refer to a single cul-de-sac in that country, i.e. "a cul-de-sac in Wales", which is plainly ridiculous. On the question of the correct plural form, obviously 'culs' is the grammatically correct plural of 'cul', based on the French, but in my experience the treating of 'cul-de-sac' as a single word resulting in the plural form 'cul-de-sacs' is the most common in practice in my part of the world. Either way, 'Cul-de-sac' is singular. Anatiomaros (talk) 19:16, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
