As mentioned, the official Romanji version of this prefecture is GUMMA, not GUNMA, see: http://www.citypopulation.de/Japan-Gumma.html, although GUNMA is still more popular. "GUNMA" sounds pretty "martial" for English-spoken people anyhow. So better us the official name everywhere!
