Google Chrome is proprietary freeware edit
According to en:Google Chrome#cite_note-6 and Google Chrome's terms of service, the browser is proprietary freeware and therefore screenshots of it are not good for Wikimedia Commons, while screenshots of Chromium are, because it's open source.
Screenshots of Google Chrome should therefore be limited (and existing ones cropped) to just the free webpages Chrome displays to demonstrate the browser's abilities, just as with screenshots of Internet Explorer. -Mardus (talk) 23:20, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
