- Oppose - a sports venue can be a racing course or an outdoor swimming pool. A stadium is a more specific concept. Ingolfson 08:03, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

- Closed deletion request. A stadium is a type of building which may function as a sports venue or a music venue. This should be a subcat of Buildings by type, and individual examples categorised by Sports venues or Music venues. Rodhullandemu (talk) 00:01, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
