Comment from my side: Please let's find here a consense, before 'warring' about nothing and having 'private discussions': imho just to enable to find all related media by not AP-experienced users of Wikimedia Commons, i started to sub-categorize the Telangana categories according to their equivalents in Andhra Pradesh (please consider, before June 4, 2014, those media were A.P.-related categories). No political etc reasons from my side, just usabiltiy. As of July 3/4 from my side all imho A.P.-related categories are separated, and ill try to to maintain those categories as before, and Category:Hyderabad, India being the common capital of A.P. and Telangana. Comment: congratulations, Telangana :-)) btw: imho at least Category:Hyderabad, India related categories may be, imho until 2024, categorized as well as "Andhra Pradesh" and "Telangana", i hope, see as of June 4, 2014, p.e. - Closing Comment: hi again, but honestly bored about watching a kind of 'warring' about Andhra Pradesh / Telangana oriented categories: Telangana was established in 2014, and Hyderabad is de jure the common capital of A.P. and Telangana, hence, please respect A.P. related categories before 2013 and Hyderabad related categories untill 2024 ;-) bibi from my side related to maintain Telangana oriented categories, and happy edittings, Roland zh (talk) 19:22, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Roland zh: Yes, you are right. But, see that it is only for administrative purpose and only administrative buildings are used for AP governance and geographically it is a part of new state, Geographical articles must be in Telangana. Also I saw a category as Category:Andhra Pradesh in the 1590s. There was no AP in 1590. so, how is it justified? It should be Nizam state.--Vin09 (talk) 05:23, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
