Pulpit
The pulpit was made almost entirely of marble. The central part of the richly carved pulpit was a sculpture of an eagle supported by a human caryatid.

Area Archelogica
The crypt leads to the early Christian church which preserves the remains of a previous church (5th-6th century). Excavations have brought to light limestone blocks dating back to between the 9th and 10th centuries.
