  •   Abstain per my stand on these type of works. I believe Commons is a resource of raw materials for various purposes; not for final products like a poster, sets, heavily cropped picture for Wikipedia info box etc. My schoolboy brain still calculating (I was very weak in Maths) how many permutations and combinations will possible with these flowers. But yes; people have always better ideas and imaginations than me. :) JKadavoor Jee 11:58, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    •   Comment -- Thank you for your comments, Jee. Let me try to explain my motivations for making this kind of composition. When I was a kid the colored plates of flowers, exotic birds, cars or airplanes in the middle pages of the old paper encyclopaedias were the most consulted by everybody (the grown-ups included). What I'm trying to do here is to recreate those plates and transmit the some kind of amazement that I felt, using images of a much better quality and detail. A link is given to each individual picture, for those interested in the unmasked full-size versions. But the main objective of these posters is to show different kinds of flowers in a single image, in a way that is both instructive and attractive to the eye. -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 17:32, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Support I admire your effort with creating this great posters. From a technically side the (flash)light on some single shots is for me a bit harsh (probably some better single shots on Commons could be found), but is is compensated by the very nice overall visual impression of the poster. --Tuxyso (talk) 20:27, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Oppose while I like the concept and also agree with Alves that combined plates are something interesting, what this lacks IMHO is a common theme, like same family, or flowering in a location or at a certain time otherwise its just a random selection of pretty flowers that in and of itself isnt special. •   Oppose For 2 reasons: the mask of the flowers does not look so natural too me, it is pretty "sharp", it can be definitely improved; but specially because the subject is unclear to me. I agree with Jkadavoor's comment and I am just getting oversaturated by these posters. The first posters (some years ago) were good, something different, the one with the white flowers was also interesting, the yellow, I abstained, and I see this has no end. The originality factor and therefore wow is gone, sorry Poco a poco (talk) 12:05, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Support Pretty and joyful. Poco is right for part: the masking job is sometimes a bit harsh, maybe the use of a softer brush could be better, in my opinion. But this very slight flaw does not prevent me for a support.--Jebulon (talk) 17:01, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Oppose per Jkadavoor and Poco about the type of image. and also seems just like a random bunch of flowers with no connection between them. --SuperJew (talk) 12:32, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
