- Info Lifebuoy covered in hoarfrost, taken on Lake Siskiyou in Northern California near the town of Mount Shasta. The wooden pillar is located about 15 meters from the shore next to a floating dock secured by a railing. To take the picture, I knelt down and leaned through the handrail. - @Wilfredor: We took a joint photo tour, and we agreed that each photographer's version should be listed under Other versions. We thought this would be interesting - especially for reusers. Frank's version was taken 16 minutes after mine. Best, -- Radomianin (talk) 21:16, 20 April 2024 (UTC)

- Support -- It’s interesting to compare these images side by side. This one is probably more fitting in terms of composition, depth of field, focusing and white balance, but when you look at the other version, you immediately start noticing the inexplicable, impeccable nature and very special character of the lens, the Summilux-M 35 f/1.4 ASPH, which is hard to beat. The lens is dead serious in its rendering. --Argenberg (talk) 20:59, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

- Support Excellent capture. I still remember how cold it was that morning at the lake. While I was focused on getting a view of Mount Shasta, Radomianin found this stunning scene. Congratulations on interpreting it this nicely! --Frank Schulenburg (talk) 10:03, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
