Well there's no real reason, but generally, these things work better when symmetrical or in the middle. I miss a chunk of the ceiling at the top, but it looks symmetrical by nature, and I think the picture doesn't capture it. The perspective correction aimed at "restoring" back the symmetry, somehow. Oppose I know how it is difficult to take pictures in these rooms, but I agree with Benh. This is to be symmetrical, it was made for that (in contrary of the romanesque architecture)--Jebulon (talk) 21:58, 22 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
