  • The comments from "support" reviews that disregard this concern are doing the FPC project a real disservice. The sky and water are compltely unrealistic and the red literally glows on the screen it is so overdone. 131.137.245.206 17:49, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • What exactly is unrealistic about the sky? Is it unrealistic because it is cyan? Believe it or not, sometimes sky really is cyan. I suggest you to spend more time observing nature. All the colors are there, even the most "unrealistic". Even the glowing red in direct sunlight. --Urmas Haljaste (talk) 20:10, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Oppose The background is distracting. There are better images of this monument in Category:Itsukushima-jinja torii. The size is quite small. Yann (talk) 14:15, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Oppose Distracting background. I suspect the red channel was is blown due to the strong midday winter sun on the paint. The saturation/vibrance has been boosted in Lightroom, according to the EXIF, which seems unnecessary. BTW, IP 131.137.245.206, if you are seeing glowing red rather than orange then it is very likely you are viewing this on a wide colour gamut monitor set to e.g., AdobeRGB. Unless viewed in a properly colour-managed app like Lightroom/Photoshop then reds can glow too much. -- Colin (talk) 16:22, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  •   Oppose As Yann. --Karelj (talk) 17:51, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
