Comment Mountain colors look totally irreal (I'm not saying they are irreal!), I've searched "Salar de Talar" on google images, some other photos look pretty much the same. Is there any explanation to this? The contrast between the sky and the mountains is pretty shocking. --Atoma19:41, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Support - Wow!! Never been there, but happy to accept the colours are real - a combination of dark sky at very high altitude (it's at 4,100m alt.), lava on the mountains, salt flats, and halophilic microorganisms in the water. - MPF21:21, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, colors looked irreals also been there, explanation is no pollution at all at 4,100m alt. and no humidity in the dryest desert on Earth. Coming back to sea level was depressing! Thanks everybody. --LucaG20:36, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
