- Comment I think it's better if you crop a part of bottom.--Claus (talk) 00:24, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- Comment I agree with Claus, and would support a cropped version (maybe 200 lines off the bottom, losing a 3:2 ratio though). --Relic38 (talk) 03:28, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- Cropped. --Von.grzanka (talk) 17:58, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- Comment For dragonflies I prefer when the image is taken from the top or the side to see a bigger part of the insect in focus. -- Korall (talk) 15:53, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- Support As promised, although I would have left the sides a bit wider. That's what I meant by losing the 3:2 ratio. As for the composition (top vs side vs profile), I believe the profile angle has value and still provides an interesting shot. --Relic38 (talk) 19:57, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- Comment It might be an interesting shot from an aestetic point of wiew but the encyclopaedic value rises if you can see the characteristics of the species in the picture, or by the set of pictures. By the series of pictures soley, the is no way for me to really know if this is a Sympetrum sanguienum or a Sympetrum depressiusculum. A better shot of the wings, geolocation or a top or bottom picture of the rear part of the body might say for sure. --Korall (talk) 22:33, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose - Technically the image is quite good but I don't like the tight framing and would prefer a different shooting position. -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 22:31, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose Good, but not featured (perfect). —kallerna™ 01:26, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

- Oppose I don't think that this meets our current, insanely high macro standard, and the composition is lacking. We have many much better shots with these critters hanging gracefully onto arching pieces of grass, not sitting on a big lump of out of focus wood. Maedin\talk 08:52, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose Regretfully as other opposers. Lycaon (talk) 20:53, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
