  • Nomination The island Vélodyssée in the Landes forest (Pinus pinaster) in France --Moroder 16:33, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •   Oppose Not sharp enough, looks overprocessed with too much contrast, sorry, nice place though. W.carter 09:18, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
  •   Comment I disagree --Moroder 11:25, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
  •   Comment Ok, fair enough. Let's discuss it. W.carter 13:22, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
  •   Oppose Regarding the high resolution enough detail and sharpness. Oppose because of oversharpening (halos), will change to pro if reworked. Upper right corner has some unsharpness (very small area), lens bad centered? Nice... erm... bicycle ;-) --Smial 09:14, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
    • Thanks for the review. I didn't do any sharpening at all, and the camera is set at neutral regarding the sharpening. The halos are due to contrast and are irrelevant compared to the size of the picture. I can#t do anything for the little unsharpness, probaly some stain on the lens. --Moroder 11:20, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
      • In the EXIF is "sharpening: strong". --Ralf Roletschek 11:29, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
      • it doesn't say that. It says "sharpness Hard" --Moroder 18:03, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
        • I don't know how nikon cameras or the used software handle sharpening setting, but if I set "sharpening" in my Pentax workflow to a low or medium setting, there are no visible halos, completely independent of contrast. -- Smial 12:06, 6 August 2016 (UTC)

  •   Oppose Unsharp --A.Savin 15:35, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
    •   Comment I uploaded a sharper version, please discuss --Llez 15:54, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
  •   Oppose Still a bit lacking in sharpness. It's possible that the autofocus is having a difficult time finding the focal point on a structure like this, so manual focus could be better.--Peulle 11:32, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
  •   Support O.K. for me.--Ermell 12:24, 3 August 2016 (UTC)

  •   Comment Same "people compression" here. Hmm... Is it the lens/camera setting? W.carter 19:18, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
  •   Support Reason provided on prev image. QI. W.carter 20:10, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
  •   Oppose I disagree: IMO the compressed people - whether explained or not - are unacceptable for QI. Besides, "dismasting" a sailing ship looks unfortunate to me. --Palauenc05 14:57, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
