Depicts (P180) will be the base for the some of the first structured statements about files, planned for release in early 2019. Depicts statements will provide improved ease of use and clarity with automated systems (bots, scripts, external tools for example), a better search experience, and built-in multilingual support for describing files.
Feedback request edit
Depicts statements are potentially complicated, and the Structured Data team wants to make sure that the specifications that the software will be built on is accurate. Please take some time to look through these slides, documenting building depicts statements. Comments, questions, concerns are welcome on the talk page.
