Historia

El Liceo Secundario Francisco Gregorio Billini es un centro educativo de nivel medio que funsiona en la laboriosa ciudad de Baní, Prov. Peravia, República Dominicana, desde los años 50's.

Fue fundada por la gestión educativa del Dictador Dominicano Rafael Leonidas Trujillo Molina en el año 1952. Fue construido en las cercanías del hospital provincial, Ntra. Sra. de Regla, exactamente en la calle [Gastón Fernando Deligne, Sur]. Al principio un pequeño centro educativo, el cual se convertiría luego en el centro más grande de la ciudad y de la provincia.

Does not allow uploading two files with same filename

Occasionally I have a need to upload two files from different directories that happen to have the same filename. The Upload Wizard forbids this for no apparent reason. Dcoetzee (talk) 08:17, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

Subir un archivo

Buenos días Estoy intentando subir un archivo y al hacerlo me informan que no aceptan ni "docx" ni "doc". Podrían por favor informarme cómo puedo hacerlo ? Muchas gracias por su atención y respuesta. This is due to security reasons as docx files are not plain text but binary (like applications, it could contain harmful code like macros and scripts). Could you explain why you need to upload something in this format and why another format (like PDF) is not possible? --Malyacko (talk) 12:06, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

Upload error

Okay, some more information: my internet connection here is very slow (DSL light,384 kbit/s downstream, upload with 64 kbit/s). So I started uploading 3 videos this night (I think at about 1.00 CET). Upload was ended at (about) 14.00 CET. Two files (:File:LK - 2012-10-25.webm and File:Stk - 2012-10-25.webm) were uploaded without problems, the third failed with the described error. My system: Win 7-64, Seamonkey 2.14 beta5. --Pristurus (talk) 14:08, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

このアップロードファイルは、ストリーミングで上書き、初期化が出来ます、このコンピュータはXPですが、最近Windows8のVisual Studio2012をばらしたファイルをダウンロードしてあり、それらを一つ一つWord Padにかけて、バッチファイルを立ち上げることで、ハードウェア的には限界がありますが、ソフトウェア的にWindows8に近付けられる手ごたえを持っています。その上でこのファイルに、関連付けられたらもっと良いと思っています。今現在Windows8はバグが多いと聞きます、でもこのファイルをダウンロードして、自分流にアレンジしていくだけでもオリジナルのツールに出来るはずです。田中猛 (talk) 07:36, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Transfer of public domain images from wikis

Perhaps it has been discussed before, I am trying to transfer a number of Italian aircraft engine images (hosted on wiki:it) that have been tagged as being suitable for transfer to Commons. Unfortunately I am struggling with 'CommonsHelper' and 'CommonsHelper2'. Are there any plans to include this option for the Upload Wizard? Many thanks. Nimbus227 (talk) 14:28, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Not sure how you would include a rather technical user interface like https://toolserver.org/~magnus/commonshelper.php in the UploadWizard which is more suited for "average" users that very likely don't want to mass-move pictures... No ideas as I'm definitely not a coder but I would suggest an extra step 'is this file from another wiki?' Click yes on giving the file name and the details and licensing templates are magically transferred! The transfer bots are very difficult to use, not intuitive unfortunately. Souci de connexion

Je viens d'uploader 22 photos en bloc via l'assistant. je pensais au départ en uploader 28 mais au bout de plusieurs heures, rien n'avançait plus (ma connexion est très limitée), et j'ai donc annulé les 6 dernières qui ne voulaient pas terminer. Souci, j'ai poursuivi les étapes de l'assistant et en arrivant sur la page de publication (la dernière étape), cela a ramé pendant près d'une heure sans publier une seule d'entre elles, j'ai fini par revenir en arrière et là, tout avait disparu. impossible de retrouver ces fichiers qui semblaient pourtant correctement uploadés sur le serveur commons. En résumé, ce serait bien de faire en sorte de pouvoir reprendre un import interrompu lorsque la première étape est terminée. Xic 667 20:19, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Very similar to the request in https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34531 - might be worth to file a separate bug report in bugzilla.wikimedia.org and ask for adding it. --Malyacko (talk) 15:10, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Maybe it would be better to have no PD option whatsoever in the Upload Wizard. The Upload Wizard is for easy cases, and PD is a complicated matter. People using the Wizard probably often are not aware of the various issues surrounding the question of "PD or not PD", so it may be wiser to do without PD options there. Experienced users know what tags to use, and the simple default "PD-US" tag of the wizard often is not the most fitting one. Gestumblindi (talk) 15:41, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

Verwijder die foto ajb

De foto "Telenet-Startpagina met fout" van mij, Dartelaar wilde ik niet op Commons zetten. Ik was gewoon de werkwijze van de uploadwizard aan het testen vooraleer ik een andere goede foto upload. U vindt die foto omstreeks de uploadtijd van maandagavond 26 nov. om 23u45. Het zou wel goed zijn om in elke stap naast Volgende ook Vorige in te bouwen, zodat je telkens kunt annuleren. Nu moet ik stoppen en dit schrijven bij "Dit is een verplicht veld" (nl. de beschrijving van de foto). Met vriendelijke groet, Dartelaar. Dartelaar [geef een gil!] 22:54, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

De foto is nooit definitief geupload. Pas als je alle stappen doorlopen hebt wordt hij definitief geupload. Ik gok erop dat je op de laatste pagina niet op OK hebt geklikt en dus geen definitieve upload hebt uitgevoerd. TheDJ (talk) 08:52, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Horribly buggy

I load up five files. It takes an hour. Then it won't let me go past the last page for "errors" it doesn't actually point out. Waste of my time. Give an override if you can't code this competently, since there's no option to save the files already uploaded to the server for another try at the forms. I found the error by the way. I had selected "set licence for each manually" then briefly selected "not my own work. And when I went back to "Own work", it still wanted "Not my own work" filled in.

Also, can you please give the option to just edit the raw {{Information}} template?
