Introduction

Uriarte Talavera is the oldest operating producer of traditional Talavera pottery, using processes that have not changed since the 16th century. They still produce traditional wares and designs, but have also experimented with more contemporary forms and decorative features, maintaining traditional color schemes. They have collaborated with a number of modern artists including Pedro Friedeberg.
