The following images are the 10 best images which will represent Wales in the International Competition! Thanks to all who took part! Wales came SECOND out of 37 countries.

Judges Iestyn Hughes and Simon Evans, both prominent photographers, felt that the image captured the diversity of this beautiful landscape, which includes fresh water streams, a salt marsh and towering limestone cliffs.

2nd -Naff14 edit

In second place this year is User:Naff14 with a well executed shot of a Puffin on Skomer Island, collecting flowers for his nest building.

3rd - Suntooth edit

And in third place, the judges agreed on a more abstract image of a rock on Rhossili Beach on the Gower by Suntooth. The judges felt that the image invoked the power of the wind and sea whilst the patterns in the sand echoed the branches of trees.

Mid way through a last-minute change of route due to a dodgy knee, the cloud allowed a shard of sunshine to break through, catching the textures of the distant mountain face. I managed to get the camera just in time. Thomas Follows.

At the start of a solo maiden hike up to the top of Snowdon, a valley caught my eye between waves of hail storms and blistering winds. The truck also was starting its journey along this most scenic and beautiful road. By Thomas Follows.
