Wiki Loves Monuments 2011 in Belarus is a part of European Wiki Loves Monuments 2011 public photo contest. It's organized by Belarusian Wikimedia movement. Belarus decided to take part in this contest after visiting Wikimedia Polska Conference 2011 in March 2011 where User:Effeietsanders made a report about the idea of the contest.
The list of monuments taking part in the contest is based on the governmental List of historical and cultural heritage adjusted for lack of freedom of panorama.
During the contest, articles about monuments and free media are to be created by participants.
