I began the process of optimising these a while ago on my own computer, and will be uploading and updating some of the simpler icons once my exams are over. However, I am wondering if anyone else has opinions on whether we should almost start over on this project, and make the icons more in keeping with the style; brighter colours and more saturation is normal in the PNG equivalents, so why are the SVGs any different?

Compare File:Supranational_European_Bodies.png and File:Supranational_European_Bodies-en.svg. NikNaks talk - gallery - wikipedia 19:03, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Argentine provinces and Patagonia edit

proposal and unofficial flag of Patagonia

Hi! There doesn't seem to be some flags of Argentine provinces available. Could be created? They could also do with the Patagonia region? Thanks and sorry for my English. --Gastón Cuello (talk) 23:19, 12 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Arpitanian flag(s) edit

Hello NikNaks! I was just watching your flags and I think they are amazing!! I was also wondering if it's possible to also add the language flag for Arpitania (even possible without the stars)? And the same thing for the flag of the Arpitan movement? I'm thanking you very much by forward. Best regards, Auvé73 (talk) 22:19, 28 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have made a Nuvola version of the movement flag. (I assume you don't mind me doing it instead of NikNaks :) SiBr4 (talk) 09:05, 29 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
  Done the other one too. SiBr4 (talk) 09:28, 29 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello SiBr4! The flag of the Arpitan minority is a little bit different than the one of the Euroregion Arpitania and the flag of the Arpitan Movement. Is it possible to add the "official" arpitan flag please? Thank you! Arpitano (talk) 18:11, 14 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

How to... edit

This all flags created as big experience in vector graphics with a blank, or this flags have a template for vector flags? How you created all this flags? I want to create same flags (for example for Russian subdivisions) in Inkscape, but I don't know how to distort (correctly distor for Nuvola style) this flags (and some flags elements like stars, texts, COA). 18:19, 13 January 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alex Great (talk • contribs)

Basically, it's finding an existing Nuvola flag that has the same basic design, changing the colors and replacing any emblems with those from the original rectangular flag. Distorting charges is done by skewing them vertically, which is done in Inkscape with the up-down arrows to the left and right of an object, found by clicking on it a second time. For charges too wide to look good using this linear skewing, you'll have to move/skew the component paths and/or nodes individually. SiBr4 (talk) 22:19, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Order of Malta edit

Hello, everyone! I am new to this project, and have done a flag of the Knights Hospitaller (SMOM) Nuvola-style. The file is this:

.

Could this be verified in your usual way? Becuase I don't want to post this on the page presumptuously. Thanks!
